I think i can get these tanks for like $50 bucks each. I have all the tools at my disposal from a plasma cutter to TIG and gasses as well as an enormouse amount of time. I can cut them to any size I want, im thinking around 60 - 70 gallon. I hope to make a custom rig that suits my brewing style...

Has anyone ever used a stainless steel liquid oxygen tank to make a brew kettle? I have a chance to get some 98 gallon cyrogenic tanks cheap. The inner vessel is 304 stainless and approximatly 22.5 inches in diameter and 8 feet long. Anyone with experience out there

For cleaning I have been using a mix of 6 parts Oxyclean, 2 parts Trisodium Phosphate and 2 parts Sodium metasilicate (by weight) with good success. I use it in the same concentration as PBW. For Sanitizing I use Starsan as directed. If I use RO water when mixing Starsan it lasts longer and...

Brewed today and the pot performed perfectly. I like the height to diameter ratio. I'll probably get another. Each gallon measures pretty close to 7/8ths of an inch. Took a 1 inch strip of stainless and made a scale with metal punches. Turned out to be pretty accurate.

Sunday is brew day

I just bought from him. The first one came with a defective weld around one of the fittings and leaked a little.. The next day he sent me a new one with a return label to send the first one back. This weekend I'm going to brew in it and I'll let you know.
