Feel like I’ve been ripped off

I had this happen to me one time and learned how to avoid this going forward. What you are paying a premium for is for the tank recertification. They have to run tests on the bottle and valve to make sure it meets industry standards. The bottles are stamped with a date. Make sure the one you are...

    Am I a *******?

MAybe you need to look at your grain bill? I used to have this issue and after doing some research I started adding a couple of pounds of carpils to every 5 gallon brew. It made all the difference in the world.

Curious Nick - you mention earlier you can pressure ferment. Are you using he Grainfather system? I made that investment and best thing I have done controlling everything.

I would do it again and put it in the keg. That's how I have been doing to for years. Make sure you shake the keg so it mixes good. You will have clear beer in two to three days

Did you boil it and let it cool a bit prior to pitching into your keg? Also you should swirl the keg to mix it in.

    Missing Gravity Points

I had exactly what happened to you happen to me as well. Did the diacetyl rest for three days at 64 and now taking it down 4 degrees per day until I hit 34. My gravity points are the same as your start 1048 and now holding at 1018. I anticipate holding at 34 for about two weeks before I keg...

First lager, with S-23... advice needed

Hello Everyone I am brewing an Octoberfest and the fermentation seems to be stuck at 1017. I was hoping to get down to 1011. I am using a tilt to monitor. Equipment I am using is Grainfather Conical on a Glycol Chiller. Started at 52 degrees and good activity for 8 days from OG 1058 to 1017...
