I recently got a 2nd manifold to add to my keezer. I know I want a secondary regulator between the two Manifolds so I can have one running priming pressures and the other running serving pressure. What I need to know is what do I need to get to connect the regulator to both monifolds. Can I get...
Ours is more of a private supper club. The host has 1-2 beers on tap and someone volunteers to make a Real Ale. We have these with appetizers and the meal. Afterwards we do the tasting. Lots of water available for everyone. Dump cups are around and are actively encouraged to prevent anyone from...
Trappist Monks in Spencer, MA have opened a brewery. Full story here. http://money.cnn.com/2014/07/10/smallbusiness/spencer-brewery-monks/index.html
Apparently my aunt helped design the marketing plan. Now to see if I can get a bunch of samples and a tour.:D
I haul all my stuff from the laundry room outside before I start messing with water. I pour my 1st beer while waiting for strike water. I'll have 1-2 during mash and then another 1-2 while boiling. I also normally start around 10 am so I have lunch during the boil as well. Tasty sammich with...
I have the 9 and 15 gallon 2 ports of those. They are great pots. They are honest about the lids (they are cheap and thin). The 15 gallon is my boil kettle. I do 5 gallon batches but I wanted to buy once on the boil kettle for when I eventually decide to jump to 10 gallons. The 9 gallon is my...

So I bought some Coldsnap to fuel yesterday's brewday. SWMBO took one sip and immediately commanded me to make something similar immediately. Being the loving husband that I am I agreed to her demands. I've never formulated a witbier before so I was hoping for some feedback or suggestions...
Hi everyone. I've been trying to track down a clone recipe for St. Bernardus Christmas ale and all I can find is that it has lots of liberty hops. Does anyone have a good recipe they would be willing to share?
I'm late to the party but another fun thing to do with cream ale is serve it as a Real Ale. My first all grain batch was a cream ale to be the guest tap at the homebrew club meeting (every meeting someone makes a beer and the club pres does the cellaring and serves it from a hand pull). I took...
Another hearty recommendation for Designing Great Beers and Beersmith. I find myself using the book along with a couple of sample recipes to build my recipes along with a little experimentation. I'm still new to designing my own recipes but It adds a new layer o fun to the whole process.
