    PicoPaks - REUSABLE?

That is pretty awesome....how much grain does it hold?

    PicoPaks - REUSABLE?

Would they be interested in making one for the C? I’m sure they would have a lot of interest now that they have released the Unpak’d version. On another note I’m working currently on a beer smith equipment profile for the Pico C.

    PicoPaks - REUSABLE?

That would be awesome thank you for helping out. I am struggling to find a sous vide container that I could drill some holes in that would work better. The size inside the step filter is just too small for a normal sous vide container.

    Pico C Unpak’d

Why can't it be registered again? If you physically have it can't you call PicoBrew and have them register it for you? BTW I wish I would have known about that Anvil.....that would have been much better honestly. After one brew I am not happy with the Pico. My small batches I should have kept my...

    Pico C Unpak’d

Yes but the question was where is the recipecrafter and I was just simply stating you don't need that crafter specifically. You can use any recipe creator to make your recipe. That is different than enabling the function in the machine. However I have found out after my first brew that you...

    Pico C Unpak’d

I am guessing around 7-9% depending on what grain/yeast you use.

    Pico C Unpak’d

I got a response that 4lbs of grain and 1lb of sugar is max for the Unpak'd version. I am not really sure why that is due to the fact that you can buy a PicoPak that has upwards of 8 or 9lbs of grain in it. The only thing I can think of is because that container that the paks come in has holes...

    Pico C Unpak’d

You really don't need the creator. You can use Beersmith and I highly recommend it anyways. Everything is manual so not creating the recipe in their creator doesn't stop you. You literally tell the Pico C what temp and how long for every step. Its truly manual so the recipe creation can be done...

Pico C Unpak'd Not even close on numbers....HELP!

Yeah I think so too. I have a tried and true red ale recipe that I will try to scale down. Im not sure they have a pico profile so I will have to ask.

Pico C Unpak'd Not even close on numbers....HELP!

This is the only Unpak'd I did. I used their recipeCrafter and put in the grain and it automatically puts in the rest of the stuff. Ironically I am using a Tilt to measure like I usually do on my big batches but need a recipe to input so I also threw it into Beersmith just to get a recipe and...

    PicoPaks - REUSABLE?

Did anyone actually finish designing a reusable container? I just got the new Unpak'd version that uses a grain bag but the problem is the water level never fully covers the grain bill so you never get full conversion of ALL the grain. I would be interested to see if someone has developed a...

Pico C Unpak'd Not even close on numbers....HELP!

I just got my Pico C Unpak'd system and created an Imperial IPA recipe that uses 7lbs of grain. Projected OG 1.083 FG 1.012 IBU 102 SRM 13 ABV 10%. My problem that I have with this system is I am not completely sure it accounts for everything like grain absorption among other things. My actual's...

Imperial Stout Sweet Chocolate Milk Stout

I just brewed this and everything was great until I ran the wort through my plate chiller....looks like a lot of sediment (prob from cocoa and lactose). It was clogging my strainer inside my boil kettle. I had to use a wooden spoon to scrape it away. It took forever to get it into my primary...
