    steeped 8 oz cara ruby grains for 30 min @ 150 degrees 6.6 lbs Pilsen LME 1 lb Golden Candy Sugar & 2 lb corn suger added 30 min into 60 min boil

    SRM Higher Than Planned

    I just brewed a belgian triple from an extract kit SRM was supposed to be around 4.7 Actual SRM more like 19-20 Any thoughts on why SRM could be higher than anticipated???
