Cascade cones will be sort of square (flat on four sides) when they get big like nagmay's in the picture above. I mixed up my nugget and cascade like you did. I made a tea out of equal sized cones from each plant and tasted them. The nugget was definitely more bitter.
I realize that the 575 is a creamer faucet, allowing more air to flow into the pour, increasing beer head. Is it possible to pour a beer on the 575 without activating the "creamer air flow" feature? Thanks.
I have some 3-4 yr old hops vines that are about 2 inches tall right now. I want to prune the roots to prevent the hundreds of little offshoots that will be appearing over the summer. Should I have done this before they sprouted this year or can I still do it. Any advice? Thanks
