    Hop into Easter!

It's probably a very bad sign that I saw an article "Hop into Easter!" and I immediately thought it would be a beer recipe. LOL!

    Beer Miracle!

For sure! I just wanted to stress the MAJOR difference between before and after carbonation. I think most everybody is used to it except us beginners. It's a HUGE difference.

    Beer Miracle!

As a beginner, one thing I realize isn't discussed enough to comfort the beginners as they brew the first batches is the miracle that happens in the first week after bottling. So, I am here to tell you... When you're bottling, you'll be thinking "What is this nasty watery crap!?!" and "How...

    Bringing Costs Down...

All great ideas. I am going to try first to increase my batch size. I think I can do that by by as much at a 1/3 right now, as I was brewing conservative at first and didn't want to over do it. The MoreBeer free shipping is a big suggestion. I had not come across them yet. With my average...

    Bringing Costs Down...

I was NEVER of the opinion that brewing my own beer would make it less expensive, but I really wasn't expecting the costs to be so high. Currently, with extract and partial grain brewing, and bottling to 32oz EZ cap bottles, I am seeing a per bottle cost of around $10. Now, I live in the...

Thanks for all the help. I went with the two weeks in the house approach, and will transfer to the 54 basement at that time.
