Brewed this and served it at a local fest our homebrew club does every year. Blind side by side with BLVD wheat and two Pro brewers chose mine as the BLVD, three others choose correct but stated they liked this version better. Very nice recipe.
Invest in a refractometer. Easiest way to check your numbers as you go. Batch Sunday was 2 points low, but a little more volume than I needed. Started a boil, checked a couple times till I hit the # then started the clock. To me a refractometer is one of the must haves. Can check numbers...
I would look yp one of the many homebrew clubs in the area. Garage Brewers(of which I am a member) is pit of ofallon mo. Stl brews, or stl hops are good choices.
Found an old 1/2 heavy duty drill to use. Does not have a speed control and lists at 500rpm. Anyone have any troubles at that speed?

My choice came down to all club events and setup takes ball lock. Seems to be more compatible with my circles.

There are 3 clubs that come to mind in the st Louis area, stl brews, stl hops, and the Garage Brewers in St Charles. I am a member of the Garage Brewers. Members are always doing brew days and having people over to check out the systems, and " quality control"
