    Added too much extract! Help!

    I'm in the boil process of a home brew and the recipe I got online called for 8lbs extract. I bought dme extract but I think the recipe was intended for lme. I put in around 7 lbs of dme extract before realizing my mistake. Is there anyway of fixing it? I'm still doing the boil right now. Thanks!

    Will they go away with time? If so how long? I added about .75 oz. to a 5 gallon batch.

    I made an IPA with less than 1 ounce of medium toast oak chips. After 3 weeks in the bottle I can kinda taste a dry bitter flavor at the back of my tongue. Could it be the oak chips giving this unwanted bittering flavor?

    Low O.G. Help?

    Last night i brewed a partial mash recipe for a stout. I mashed at 155 for 30 minutes. My O.G. was 1.070 and it was supposed to be 1.078. What happened? Is it a big problem or a way to fix it? I did mix the water in well since it was a partial boil. Here is the recipe.. 7 lbs. (0.77 kg)...
