Here are two used together. One I love, the other, not so much.
>>I remain trepidacious, but it might could happen.<<
I'm a bit surprised that nobody has yet mentioned "not so much".
Lollerz. It ain't workin'. I just tapped a keg that I brewed in June of 2009. It gets better with age.
SWMBO and I are starting to drink a bit more of this now that the weather is turning warm. I still have 5 gallons I started at halftime of the 2010 Superbowl and 5 gallons I started in...
To get the thread somewhat back on track...
My GF will be in town over the MLK weekend. :ban:
She has brewed with extract before but has never seen an AG brew day so I'm going to enlighten her. :tank:
We'll be brewing Jamil's Czar's Revenge but on Friday.
No brewing on Monday...
Oh Mistress of all things beer related, I understood your post and thank you for the insight. Getting it right from the beginning is too easy and fixing this one is not my style.
Let's all take a deep breath and let this one go. I have more beer than I know what to do with so I will not...
If your sig is accurate, you and I are fermenting the same Russian Imperial Stout. I have high hopes for this one because I have never had a Jamil recipe turn out bad...
I'm a scientist. If I can't repeat an experiment I don't know how to interpret the data. This beer will never be what I...
Accurate enough when I can see it :-).
159 is done? I have no problem throwing out the batch. 5 gallons out of 130 this year or so won't break my heart. I don't actually believe in stuck fermentation which is why the title is the way it is. I'm pretty sure it's toast but wanted outside...

0.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) Grain
Mash Ingredients

Brewing is almost the most fun you can have with your clothes on. If I brew 5 gallons a week (and I'm up to 100 gallons for the year BTW) and can drink a gallon a week if I'm really in top form, that means I need 4 gallons of help a week.
My neighbors love me.
Since I started kegging my beer has tasted better. Crisper, cleaner, more mature more quickly. I don't like the taste of homebrew from a bottle.
+1 for the glass
and yeah, you may need to pee in the bottle at some point...
Rather than attempting to estimate a gift value as an exchange, spend a little time with the guy, invite him over and drink a couple with him. You never know, he might get interested in brewing and either a) brew with you or start doing it himself and give you some of his; or b) like it enough...
