[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Having built something like this for a local bar, I heartily endorse this concept! I had to go a bit less information dense for the build I did, given TV size and readability concerns, but this looks great. I've also always wanted to try a flowmeter synced setup, but haven't had the chance...

    Vintage Kelvinator Kegerator Build

I use my C02 bottle upright in the kegerator, but as someone who had not heard of this issue, I'm just curious as to why using a C02 bottle on its side isn't kosher?

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Just kegged a batch of Apfelwein I've been sitting on for an entire year. Really excited to see how it is once carbed up.

    Upcoming DAR440BL Kegerator Build

Nicely done! Looking good. I guess I neglected to post pictures of the temperature control box I eventually wired up. It's a combination STC-1000 with hot and cold outlets on one side (using the cold only at this point), and two switches to control the two outlets on the other side...

The Beer Cellar: New Cellaring Site

The Beer Cellar is now mobile ready! While it already worked well on iPads/other tablets, I've just pushed a new phone-specific interface live. This was the most requested feature based on the feedback I received post launch, so hopefully people will find this useful. Details...

The Beer Cellar: New Cellaring Site

Hi there! I've just developed and finally pushed live a new cellaring site, The Beer Cellar, accessible at http://www.beercellar.me I designed this site initially for my friends and me, then decided to branch out and bring it public (I've been working on things for the past few months in...

    Man, I love Apfelwein

The first batch of this I've made is carbing up now (started Sunday), and should hopefully be coming along nicely by the end of the week (I boost carbed). Already planning to start another batch tomorrow, as even still this stuff is delicious.

Bringing a cold keg to room temp and using a jockey box

I've always wondered: as the jockey box is designed to cool the beer before it gets to the glass, do the kegs actually need to be cold? If you can already cool the kegs, I just wonder why you'd need a jockey box at all over a picnic tap.

American Wheat Beer Honey Balz Spring Wheat

Just brewed up a batch of this on Sunday, and it's bubbling away happily (and looks tasty!). We're just hitting the warmer months here in the Bay Area, so it should be perfectly timed.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

I am, and the box will also be moving in a month or two once the last part of the kegerator balcony project is completed. We'll be building a table surface that will sit on top of the kegerator, and expand across to the opposite corner of the nook it's sitting in. At that point, the control...
