Along the same lines as The Avett Brothers (folk/punkish/bluegrass), I have to recommend Langhorne Slim. Awesome stuff....I'm a big fan of his self-titled album
Awesome...I'm less than 30 minutes from Dirty John's. They have so many glasses that they have to store them in a house across the street. Awesome place for random beers.

It's not my "go to" glass by any means, but it's definitely unique (and over-priced). It's supposed to be the best beer glass ever, but I find it a bit top-heavy and small. (that's what she said)
FM takes random kittens from the security of their mom's teat and punches them in their dumb faces. I have all their stuff and am greatly anticipating their new release "Float" coming out soon. (this week maybe?)
****ing A is one of my favorites...what's your take on the new one? A lot of Thermals fans think it's too "radio friendly" but I honestly haven't had a chance to listen to much of it (besides pillar of salt, of course).
