    Oxygen cleaner?

I'm curious to see if you think it effects your brew in any way. I saw that too and went with the oxi clean anyways. Let em know once you've cleaned with it and brewed following

    Oxi-clean ok?

A friend on mine at work said he cleans all of his equipment with oxi clean. Another friend suggested he thought the oxi clean left a foul taste in his brews. Just curious what people think - and what kind 0f oxi clean you use? There seems to be quite a few kinds of it.... Any pictures would...

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

I'm just enjoying another one of these off the keg. I still can't believe how good it is for such a simple recipe!

60 is right about where mine was. I didn't really have an option, it was in my basement. But it turned out amazing!

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

Ok so I finally tried mine yesterday after carbing for 19 days. My girlfriend and I both loved it. The raspberries added just enough without being overwhelming. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. This will likely be on the rebrew list!

You also have to consider how many volumes you want to carb to. Every beer style has a recommended number of volumes, but ultimately it's your beer! That's what makes this such a great hobby.

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

So - I just FINALLY kegged mine today. I did seven days in the primary and five in the secondary after I racked on top of the raspberries. I moved to a tertiary and it's probably been in there for about a month to a month and a half. Work really gets in the way of brewing!!!! My OG was 58...

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

I let mine sit in the primary for a week and then racked on top the raspberries in the secondary for five days. I racked to a tertiary for about a week and a half and am ready to keg!

    Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale request

Sorry. I don't have an extract recipe.

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

Ok! Just wanted a sanity check. Though, I guess the earlier posts classify the base as a brown ale.

Mine too :-) I made it today - the all grain version someone had posted. I used black roasted barley, so it came out a little darker than I expected, but from the look of everyone's secondaries it might not be far off. I'll post a picture after fermentation is through and after it's kegged and...

    Fruit Beer Requiem Raspberry

Does anyone have a picture of the finished product in a glass? I see a lot of pictures of it racked to secondary but I'd love to see how dark it turns out when it's all finished. Thanks in advance!

    Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale request

I agree. This is a wonderful beer. I had it when I was in Budapest and again when I was in Berlin. I was ecstatic when I found it in Toronto, but I've yet to find it in the States. So - as a homebrewer, I figured I must clone it. You are correct though, it is served with nitrogen / beer gas, so...
