    Thanks, it is a nice size. I have a STC-1000 control box to build this week for a fermentation refrigerator. My last controller box was built out of a project box for my keezer and I like the Idea of the PVC Junction box better and its probably cheaper to boot.

    Get a thermo pen its the best thing I ever bought. I use it all the time for cooking as well.

    I pitched 565 the first time I used it at 75 and let it ride on its own and ended up with a beer full of phenols and higher alcohols, you really want to let the growth phase. Complete before you push the temps any higher.

    If your have city water that is treated with chloromine then boiling wont remove it. This the same principal as preparing your brewing water. You could use bottled water if you wanted.

    I just stole pantry hose from the wife and stuck the racking cane inside it. Ifyou use an auto siphon like me the clip it comes with will hold it in place. According to the wife the one she donated has a reinforced toe. It works amazingly to keeps all the floaties and junk from making its way...
