    FastFerment conical fermenter??????

I have a Milk Stout in my FastFerment now. After following some of the advice on here about trimming the leftover plastic on the threads I think this thing is pretty good. Out of curiosity are people bottling straight from the conical, or are they transferring to a bottling bucket and...

    Fermentation done after 1 week?

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked the gravity yesterday, still stable at 1.021. I was going to bottle this weekend, it will be 14 days in the fermenter at this point, but based on the suggestions I am going to leave it one more week before I bottle.

    Fermentation done after 1 week?

Hi, I'm still new to homebrewing, I've made 5 beers, this is my 6th. Two of those have come out drinkable, haha. Anyway, I got a Milk Stout kit from my local shop, it's a Brewer's Best kit. I also got the FastFerment conical to try out and help make things a little easier process wise...

    First beer, stuck fermentation?

Well the stuff I read about beer didn't mention the hydrometer step, so I figured it was unnecessary. That was a mistake I realized after unfortunately. It's been in the primary only since Sunday. I guess I'm more used to the mead. My meads are bubbling like crazy for a much longer time span...

    First beer, stuck fermentation?

Hi, I've new to brewing beer, I've done several meads however so I have some basic knowledge of the process. I read a bit online, and ran across the White House Honey Ale recipe, http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2012/09/01/ale-chief-white-house-beer-recipe. I made the wort and got everything...
