the dishwasher is good for taking labels off on used bottles and to give a good cleaning job i found. just dont use the dish soap in it and make sure to clean the food trap. what you need is the hot water and if you are cleaning 50 at a crack it makes it easier to wash them out
it's never a bad thing to over sanitize. i alway like to clean out everything immediately after i use it. (even if i'll be filling it up again)
you can never be too clean, just remember to sanitize everything that your beer will be touching when you bottle your batch.
For what you're using it for it will be fine no matter what process you use. i personally prefer to mig weld all of my stuff just because i know it wont break then. tig welding with filler would be fine as well. i would think that if you fused it, it would be ok yet. Just make sure to check for...
