Home Brewing Biography

I got into brewing because growing up I would watch my father make 1 or 2 batches of beer every year. A couple years ago I bought a Northern Brewer 5 Gallon Homebrew Extract Kit. I made 2 batches with this and I wasn't happy with either. I took a 2 year hiatus from brewing then decided to try again doing all grain. Since I don't have the space to do all grain for 5 gallons, I almost exclusively make 1 gallon batches now. I use a small 2 gallon cooler as my mash tun and a 3 gallon stock pot for my boils.

Future Brews

I have a large supply of pellet hops so I plan on making a lot of IPAs to try to get some freezer space back. I am also planning on starting a Solera Beer within then next month.
