I'd definitely be interested in seeing the instructions. I just got an ebay unit and want to take a shot at updating it to 3.1.2. I'm also not convinced my original unit which was updated to 3.1.2 OTA has updated firmware.

Agreed - I'm thinking of picking up one of the eBay units for parts. Will be interested to hear how it pans out for those who already pulled the trigger. Actually looking forward to hacking on/modding the machine a bit, now that any notion of a warranty is out the window.
