    Stc-1000+

Welp... I have a POS knock-off... WK-02-K I guess this explains the issue... anyone shipping A400_P abroad? (Chile) :(

    Stc-1000+

I need help with an unflashed STC-1000... if there is no solution, I will be forced to buy an arduino board and join the stc-1000+ family... Basically every time the unit is unplugged and replugged, the compressor delay goes "blank" (if you go to the parameter F3, it shows no number, the...

    Oxygen while bottling

Hey, I used my homemade venturi aerator by mistake while transfering my beer to my bottling bucket; at least 20% of the beer got foamy and received a lot of air... but the beer is fine after 1 month in the bottle. I think it is very hard to over-oxygen your beer while bottling.

cold crash + adding co2 to fermenter

Hi kevin, nice setup! Yes, I'm aware that it would take a lot of hours of injecting CO2 in order to allow the beer to cool down to coldcrash temps without any oxigen intake... but my idea is to prevent the "big" air suckbacks. In my experience, leaving the 3 parts airlocks with...

cold crash + adding co2 to fermenter

I have been thinking on "injecting" CO2 to my fermenter (bucket) while coldcrash, to avoid suckback and preventing oxygen from getting to the beer. I believe that those 12gr catridges plus something like a bike pump connected to a food grade tubing (poor guy solution) or a CO2 charger for...

    Worst brew ever...

Welp... yesterday I openned one bottle to check if the beer was acid or whatevs and it tasted quite nice. It has a chocolate aftertaste, lacking the coffe punch you would expect from a stout... I guess. The hops come through quite nicely though, I should have dryhoped this batch and go for a...

    Worst brew ever...

It surely was predestined to go at least less than optimal. The relay problem was a surprise, it was fairly new. The ingredient problem might have been solved if I just had postponed the brew day, but my free-time window is so tight that I didn't want to. Anyway, 90% is my fault... live...

    Worst brew ever...

I'm trying to go there, having ingredients in "stock" at home is the best option, but it increases the already large space used by this hobby :/ My aim is to have at least specialty malts in storage. The problem is not having a grain crusher, but it would seem that crushed grain can be stored...

    Worst brew ever...

This was a VERY sloppy brew from my part. I guess I got too confident with the "success" I have been having with my past batches...

    Worst brew ever...

Ok, so I guess it is normal to have those "bad brew" days, but from mashing to bottling this one has been... horrible. So I aimed for an American Stout recipe, but while picking up the malts the store is out of chocolate/roasted malts... forced to go with only roasted dehusked barley as...
