    Might have used wrong tea; is my kombucha safe to drink?

    Welllll that's the other thing. I had already steeped two more quarts with the flavored green tea before I REALLY started worrying about it and posted on here. I just went out and picked up regular organic green tea bags, so do you think I could pull the SCOBYs out and put them in a new batch?

    I actually had tasted it just a bit before I realized which tea bags I used. Tastes great! I'm so excited for it to get a little carbonation, cause I think I'll like it even better than the commercial stuff. All that to say… tasted/smelled fine to me. Thanks for weighing in!
