    First lager attempt with limited ingredients

    You could also try for a kolsch ale, obviously not a lager but you could ferment at ale temps then lager it out and pretend it's a lager

    Am I Crazy?

    So I see a couple of Barleywine recipes that call for a yeast cake from a previous batch to be pitched as the yeast for the said barleywine. My plan is to pitch two, am I crazy or does this seem like an awesome plan? Secondary question: If I do this will I need a blow-off tube, with a 5 gallon...

    Hello Seattle I'm here to brew some beer.

    That was a play on an Owl City tune if anyone caught. Anyway, what's up team? I just brewed a Porter (The Pissed Off Porter) and an IPA (The C-Note IPA featuring Chinook, Cascade and Centennial hops) and kegged three brews for a friends wedding, all done today!
