So I just racked half my raspberry wheat ale onto fresh/frozen raspberries and bottled half with just flavor extract to see which one I like better. My question is how long to I leave the beer in the secondary with the fresh raspberries? Full 2 weeks? 1 Week on then rack into a tertiary? Help...

Ah yea man Redfeather has some great fishing! You should be able to find some rivers with some great bends where the water slows and those big trout just wait! Hope you have a good time!

Will do man! I am pretty excited to see how it turns out. Most recipes I have seen with spruce are darker beers but I think the lighter body of the red may be good to let the spruce shine through a little more. Thanks for the help!

That is very true. I only want to "brew" it as this typ of beverage because I give out a lot of my homebrews to friends and even leave a stock at a friends house to have people try during get togethers there. I guess I could do the mixing myself but If I didnt then people would probably not do...
