    8 tap keezer build

Sorry. Missed this. The insulation is less. I believe it was around 1/2 inch. I had to keep total thickness less than 2.5" for my 4" shanks. I don't really have foaming issues but I use the flow control faucets to slow pour which helps. Cheers

    8 tap keezer build

Yep. That is the stain and the wood (except I used 1x10 poplar) so I could fit ball locks over the compressor. Then I did one layer of polycrylic over top. No real issues outside of just little mistakes. Figuring out line length, had a bunch of kegs freeze because my temp probe in jar wasn't...

Has anyone come up with ways to dump yeast without exposing the conical to the oxygen in the sight glass other than the norcal yeast brink?

    Spike Gas Manifold Safety Warning

Thanks for the detailed reply. Attached photo is the set up I was thinking. Would allow me to use blow off tube for majority of fermentation and like you mentioned, shut it off during final portions to build up some pressure. My primary goal is to minimize cold side oxidation and I like the idea...

    Spike Gas Manifold Safety Warning

Looking at building my own manifold for spunding, pressure fermentation, transfers for my new CF10s and had a couple questions. 1) Is this the type of spunding valve you are referring to in the first picture? 2) Is there a downside to using the type of PRV I show in the second picture? It...
