Here's an example of what most the bottles are, their bottle is cleaner (and much more expensive!) http://m.ebay.com/itm/PURITAS-WATER-ARROWHEAD-5-GALLON-CARBOY-GLASS-WATER-BOTTLE-B367-/121033622906#
The logo is Puritas Water, which later merged with Arrowhead - some of them also say 'Arrowhead Puritas Water'. At least one of them says Bastanchury Ranch Water.

They all need a good wash, they were outside for a bit, then moved to a storage unit.

I have read through hundreds of posts on agave and see that it has been used extensively in wheat beers and some lagers. However, I was thinking about using it in place of Belgian candi syrup in a tripel. The recipe calls for 1.5# of candi syrup. Would I do a 1 to 1 conversion? I have read that...
Did you put 1 oz of cedar in 5 gallons? I am trying to figure out what are the major flavor components of cedar in a finished beer to see if it is worth adding to a Coffee Imperial Stout. Also, what kind of cedar and how much would you need for a 2.5 gallon batch?
I am trying to find out the major difference in flavors the following would impart in aging an Imperial Stout: Pecan chips soaked in rye vs. oak chips soaked in bourbon. And how much chip-wise to add for a 2 1/2 gal batch? Thanks!
