Sazerac, I have started up the keezer. The fans do a great job of moving air past the outside. I plan to put two fans into the coffin box. What style of keezer is yours? Collar or coffin? I have heard of issues with foaming when a coffin box is getting warm. Good luck with the foam issue...

Airdog the fans are going to move air around the sides of the freezer, because when I surround the freezer with wood there is not going to be enough airflow to keep the freezer cool enough without the fans.

Thank you for the suggestion on recirculating the wort, that sounds like a great idea, will definitely give it a try on the next batch.

I am running off my wort at a trickle. If I slow it down any more the flow stops. My immersion chiller cools my wort faster than the counterflow does.

To isolate the pots from the wood I got 1/4" thick cork and cut it to the size of the kegs, so they are sitting on cork pads.

Having an issue with my counterflow chiller. To cool 5 gal from boil to 70F is taking 20 min plus. My tap water is 58F, and even the discharge water is only 75F. Have checked and made triple sure that the water and wort are flowing in opposite directions.:mad:

Sorry for not updating this sooner, been busy building EBrewery. The Hops are growing well, been having a problem with the leaves getting chewed off. Finally figured out that it was SWMBO's little dog doing the chewing.:mad: Installed a fence around the garden this past weekend, so...

Thought I would post a picture of my coil you did for me it works great. I thought that I could use street elbows and then the compression fitting, but that did not work for me had to get the 90 Deg compression fittings and then it all went together very smoothly.:mug:
