If i run a keg of birch or root beer through a perlick faucet, does it run the risk of damaging it or permanently imparting a smell to it?
I wanna put a batch of birch beer through a long line, but dont want to end up wasting a perlick faucet on just soda later....

true but if you did an edworts apfelwein with the wyeast hefe yeast (i cant remember the number), itd be ready by then and it tastes FREAKING INCREDIBLE.
