Any ideas on esb hop addition times. I have ekg and northern brewer, also willamette that would be appropriate. Should the hop all be on the backend? Aroma is not important correct??
Just finished my controller box. The pid temp seems to be of about 6 degrees+ is there away to calibrate this? Or might it be the thermocoupler??? Anyone ever had this problem???
I want to do a czech style pils, any ideas or a bittering addition. Saaz only would take a ton of hops to get to 40 ibu's. I want the saaz flavor late in the boil but need the bitter ibu's in the beginning. I have Some Bravo that would be good in the first addition. Any thoughts??
