Your comment is very pertinent, I made an Old Ale at 1080 OG and tested it after a week and it was almost flat. I was a little bit afraid it wouldn't work out ! When I shake the bottles softly some have gaz and other not. I'm trying a good one tomorrow after 2 weeks in bottle. Thank you !
Now I'm sure I made a mistake ! Don't buy that mill !!! I set it with a feeler gauge the lowest I could and I still find unmilled grain. When I turn the rolls, I can see the gap widen and shorten !!! Since I have it my efficiency droped 20 %.
Don't buy that **** !!!
I got the same gap problem on one side of the millar's mill and it didn't work with a drill as good as the video. I'm beginning to think I made a mistake buying this mill.
I just bought a Millars Mill and I have tried to use it with a drill and it didn't work well, there is smoke getting out of the drill ! I milled 16 pound of grain for a imperial stout by hand and it took me one hour and a half. Can someone help me ?
