    Viking malts

That looks just like the NEIPA I recently made with Viking 2-row, flaked oats, and wheat malt. Came out super-dark with only 60% efficiency. I doubt I'll buy again after this bag.

    Low Grain Bill Recipe?? Thoughts?

$8 for the dark mild I brewed today. Traditional dark mild based loosely on Ron Pattersons' recipe for JW Lees 1952 Best Mild -- 5 lbs of different grains, some dark invert sugar, and 1.25 oz of hops. Made just over 4 gal and re-pitched yeast. Comes in at 3.6% ABV with a lot of flavor.

Long time listener, first time caller...

Let's see...I've been brewing for 18 years now. I recently moved overseas (again) and found myself going to this forum on more than one occasion when trying to use a new local ingredient or find a way to make use of random bits of different grains. I'm pretty much interested in all types of...

    I couldnt believe my ears!

Wife...help...me... Sorry, I'm not familiar with this phrase. Are you sure you are spelling it correctly? Perhaps it a translation from a foreign language? If you are using google translate, sometimes they come up with some funny translations for things that make sense in your native tongue.

How to get more flavor without adding Fermentables

I'm trying to imagine the flavor of a 25% biscuit grain bill. I can believe it would taste out of balance, but would not have expected it to be thin. I think dcp27 has the right recommendation for you.
