I think it was about $170 for everything including the C02 tank and the drip tray. I forgot to include the drip tray above but that is available as well. A new C02 tank is around $50 depending on what size you choose. All that being said I am looking to get $100 for the entire kit excluding...

Yes, you are introducing sugars when you add fruit so it will restart fermentation. I always use a blow off tube and I didn't have any problems.

I always add fruit like I am "dry hopping". You need to mash the berries so you actually get some flavor in the beer. I only rack to a secondary when using fruit to get out the fruit particles that are in the beer. I am sure you could filter them out when you transfer to the bottling bucket if...

I am pretty new to this too but I would think that the 63-68 temp. In the pantry is an ideal temp. I ferment and condition in my basement which is usually about 67.
