1. I believe the keg you are referring to is what is often called a 1/6th keg. Unfortunately you will not be able to fit two 1/6th kegs. It might be possible if you mod you'r door giving yourself more depth. Otherwise you should be able to fit a 1/6th next to a corny.
2. I'm not sure...
I haven't seen any pics with a sixth in it yet so thought I would post. Just finished my build this weekend. As you can see ...its a little tight with the way the line comes out of the tap, I think I will order an elbow fitting like this one to give myself a little breathing room...
The lines are about 5 feet...but a foot and a half or so of that is in the tower\copper line...I might have been able to siphon a little in to the lines...and then maybe connect it to the keg...and let the keg push the stuff out.
I just ended up running hot water over the washer and hooking...
Hello all. I just built a kegerator with a kit from beveragefactory. I've never used kegs before so I'm new to all this. I picked up a keg from total wine and I'll be hooking it up in couple hours. Do I need to run anything through the beer lines in the kegerator to sanitize or clear them...
I started to do this conversion but hit a snag. I plan to run my lines through copper tubing as others have but found that i had these step, or pex fittings on my lines:
Problem with these is that apparently they are single use only, and you need a special tool to both remove and apply...
Is there a trick to getting the fittings off of the lines that run in to the tower? I need to get the ends off so I can run the tubing through the copper...but am having a hard time.
Did you run bolts all the way through to the inside of the fridge to mount your tower?
It sounds like folks in the other thread have...but the way my tower bolt holes would line up put them uncomfortably close to freon lines.
I was wondering if it would be feasible to just screw the tower...
