I am looking to brew a apple ale for the fall and I am kind of lost...I am a Extract Brewer as of right now. so If someone can help me out with a rough recipe , I can tweek and maybe get a delicious beer...Thanks!
I am also deciding what to brew for the fall...so far i might do a clone of sierra navada's Tumbler or a apple ale...can never go wrong with a pumpkin ale either
60 min boil
6lbs Light LME-no hops in LME
1lb Crystal 60L grain
2 or 1.5 oz. warrior-for bittering hops
2oz cascade for flavor
1oz citra for aroma
Ale yeast-dry
5oz primming sugar

Im mixing warrior, cascade and citra for the beer im about to start...i dont know which im going to dry hop with yet, your pairing seems to be good what was your hop schedule?
I looked up how to make myself a mash tun and wort chiller without spending a **** ton of $...when I get home from school I got a little project lined up...oh and a drank a few home brews from my last batch of course
I want to try and brew an IPA with a nice amber color to it and a great aroma that will suprise the taste buds. This will be my first brew with no kit. Does anyone have any recipes for me or pointers??.thanks in advance!
