I agree with lamarguy; I can't really get on with the lines argument because I'd think anything in the lines that would cause hangover like symptoms would also be easily discernible in the beer (it'd taste off).
I've had plenty of homebrew that was poorly fermented (warm) and it is staggering...
+2 on the relay. I haven't replaced the relay in my upright because the relay costs more than I gave for it (a 6pk) since the previous owner lost 2 full loads of food due to it's failure.
I found that if i disconnect/reconnect the relay, or, wack it with a screwdriver, it frequently starts...
I rake mine into the yard; it makes outstanding grass patch!
Each brew I sort of pick an area that's looking a little downtrodden and rake in the spent grains. If you rake them thin, they don't stink, they just dry out. If you leave them in a big warm pile...not so much.
It beats...

Have to agree here. In my first couple years I sort of settled in and got some house brews going. For the past several years I've stayed interested by doing subtle experiments; some years I spend a lot of time using some of my less complex (ingredients-wise) recipes in split-batch yeast stuff...
Leinnies Summer Shandy.
I was at a concert, and, it was somebody elses turn to buy a round. I mumbled something (can't remember what my macro choices were..but I picked the least offensive) apparently there was a mixup at the beer tent when they switched kegs, and we all ended up with glasses...
I too have experienced this. Coupled with a local brewer who is a little more "free" with his beer in this respect; he's basically provided HB at places/events that I wouldn't feel all that comfortable doing so, because the line is just a bit too blurry to me.
I have a good friend who was...
