New regulator might be busted, cranking it up

Thanks...I think i'll get the gauge...it claims to be fine. The kegs are refurbished and have served well the last time, though 6 months ago. I think the poppets are probably on their third or 4th use. Perhaps i'll get all new parts. We'll see tonight..i'll see if perhaps they have come...

New regulator might be busted, cranking it up

Hi. I have a new separate pressure tap rite regulator. One beer has been at 12 psi for three weeks, a second for one week. The first shows some signs of carbonation, the second very little. I think the gauges may be off. I just cranked them to 35. I'm not going to shake/roll...just let...

Rubber O-Ring liquid side discolored EDIT: It's the gas side!

I was about to keg and took apart my pin locks for a good cleaninng. The o-ring on the liquid side is very discolored and having trouble just popping it off. Could this cause a co2 leak, even on the liquid side? I'd like to keg tonight and get it on gas and down to 38 degrees, then deal with...

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

Ah. That's an excellent idea. Thanks much. I feel much better about my first brew in two years being in my kegerator now, and even better about my 2 liter starter of Vermont Ale yeast and the heady topper clone kit I have from northern brewer about to go into the grainfather. As a former...

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

Yeah...got that part. so from 0/little pressure it can kinda sneak out, but at some point...it becomes enough to actually seal it and not escape. Feel foolish. Still gonna get some keg lube and new parts though.

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

Hmm...so it's a new regulator...and I had it at 0. When i turned it to 12 it appears to have sealed properly. Does that make sense?

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

I did not. Is that essential in making the seal? If so, I shall pick some up today when i get the new lid parts

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

Pours fine (un carbonated) if i leave it on the Co2. So i guess i'm just acting like the noob i am once again. lol. And obviously not leaving on the Co2 until i get a good seal.

    New Kegerator Set up....leak question

So I haven't brewed in two years. I washed out my kegs...left on tap two years ago...cleaned the lines...and bought a new regulator. All good to go. Kegged a beer today and put on Co2. bubbled like crazy when sprayed around the lid. So clearly need new gasket there...I think, right? Also...

    Cleaning Carboys......

Interesting. I use hot water, I'm on all plastic, with a bit of OXY for about 20 mins and have had great luck. I move it around during the first 5 mins to get all spots, then just chill for 15 mins or so as it works on the rest...then move the carboy around again for 1 or 2 mins. Sucks it...

    Cleaning Carboys......

I recently bought https://www.kegwasher.com/ It can be used right on the kitchen counter or tile floor and is amazing. I'll be getting purchasing the right hose as well so i can use it to clean the poppet and dip tube of my kegs.

    Keg problem on both faucets

**UPDATE*** Well, i racked to a sanitized better bottle, quickly cleaned the keg and dip tube and poppet. tube and poppet were clogged...there was very little hop residue in the bottom though. Got it back on gas at 13 psi. And....while there was some oxygen, it will be awesome...

    Keg problem on both faucets

Must be a clogged dip tub or poppet now that i hink aobut it, right? keg 1 wont dispense off gas or on gas of either line. I hear gas go in fine. I have the right socket wrench for the pinlock, but never done it. Any advice on how to clean get this unclogged?

    Keg problem on both faucets
