I think it was said one for another above and more than once. but you need to have something for the macro Brew drinkers. If you have five guys going out and even if only one of them drinks Bud Light they are going to go where that one guy can get a Bud Light on the rest of them can get craft...
So you did a single step mash like you had always done?
If so, i would say your RIMS probably did pull more out of yiur crystals and that made it darker. Just my opinion though.
