    Two Tier Brew Rig Build!

Those are 4x4 pressure treated posts and 2x8 framing all lag bolted together. It would hold 4x that weight and not sag...

    Two Tier Brew Rig Build!

Nice work man, quality assembly! I don't think you're gonna run into a lot of heat problems with a heat shield on there and it running outside.

Quick and dirty keg-spinning stand ideas

Thats a pretty sweet setup. Just how many kegs is this thing spinning? You may also want to look into a high cut polish. You can achieve a real nice finish, depends how rough it is though.

    $3 Weldless Kettle Bulkhead

You're right, female NPT to sweat. I use a 1/2" one but would the 5/8" work better for you? My washers must not have been stainless because there was a lot of iron oxide in the water at the bottom after cleaning. I got fortunate because i had a ton of different o-rings around so I found the...

    $3 Weldless Kettle Bulkhead

Do you really even need the washer on the inside of the kettle? As long as the o-ring you have there can take the temps and can form a tight seal. Why not just use that on the interior. Another option is to have a 1/2" copper bell housing on the interior of the kettle. A brass valve can than...

I've kept my cleaning and sanitizing as simple as possible and never had a problem on about 20 batches. I Always rinse the equipment after use so I never have any real solid particulate matter caked on. Than just give er a bleach soak, I use mine fairly concentrated and just "swish" it around...

    Best Hangover Cures?

+1 to the above post.Additionaly I notoiced a marked improvement on the above if one eats a fair sized balanced meal ie.. peanut butter toast, sandwich and a whole **** load of tomato juice for K+ and Na+ ions. Tomato juice also contains other vitamins, minerals and ions which are usefull in...

    MLT cooler midifications?

If you have the 36 quart or 34L coleman xtreme cooler I just built my MLT with pretty good success. It uses no plastics, seals great, keeps very stable temps, and is probably the cheapest one to build that i've seen yet!

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I brewed a batch similar to this as a result of a lack of hops/yeast available. Still smells great though, thanks for the recipe from the feedback this is a winner. Should I crash cool? I am fermenting at about 65F. I have a space available with fairly constant temp around 55F.
