In general is it good advice for all kit users to carefully check one of the priming sugar calculators?
I have an Irish stout ready for bottling, and the calculator tells me to use half the priming sugar my kit came with. 2.5 oz out of the 5 oz the kit provided....
I can relate to horror stories early on, I imagine most people can.
Last night while sloshing the cooled wort around, before pitching yeast, the spigot on the bucket popped off and I had a fire hose of chilled wort shooting everywhere! **** happens!
