Natural gas brew stand - 23 tip burner to 10 tip conversion build.

Reviving an old thread. I just bought this burner to use with the natural gas connection on my patio. I'm going to plug the outside tips (mentioned above) and give it a shot. It won't mount to my Dark Star - so I'll have to figure out another way, but have some ideas based on this thread. Lots...

Virginia Grainfather - New In Box ($820)

Selling a new in box Grainfather electric brewing system. If you are brewing beer with pots and propane, the Grainfather is a great way to go all electric while also allowing consistency from brew to brew. It had a small footprint, so no more storing 3 vessels, and it also includes a...

Is this a solid deal on a keezer?

Seems way too expensive. Its nice but I agree, there is nothing that stands out other than the room it provides to cool. If you decide to go it on your own, there are lots of builds out there. I bought a used freezer off craigslist for cheap and built my own. You don't have to be an expert...

Re-kindling a stuck fermentation in carbonated beer

and how does it taste now? I have the same issue with my brown ale. Kegged without a hydro reading because I broke my hydro (typical). I have it carbed and its VERY sweet (likely stuck in the 20's). So - should I siphon to a carboy and repitch (maybe Notti) like you did? Did it turn out...

American IPA Sierra Nevada Celebration Clone 2013

Andy - don't know how I missed your post, but I'm glad it turned out good. I really enjoy Celebration, and still think this recipe is about as close as it comes. I am looking forward to it coming out soon (although I'm enjoying Flip Side now). I just bought the ingredients to start brewing...

    Portable Draft Beer

Cycl - Keglove has worked great. I like the smaller keg because of portability, but it's also easy to plan a batch size and fill. You either do a small batch (which I'll do as BIAB), or you make a large batch (7-8 gallons) of your favorite brew and fill 5 and 2-3 gallon kegs!

    No Chill Brewing

I just read an article in this month's BYO about no chill brewing. You basically brew your beer and then let it cool (generally overnight) to ambient, and pitch your yeast. In the warm months it is difficult to get my brew close to pitching temp using my immersion chiller, so I am considering...
