So, what does that do to the National Homebrew Competition?? Curious as to how that will be set up.

Sourdough bread. Fermenting Veggies. Fermenting Peppers. I keep a tub of 5-10 gallons of star san mixed with RO water on hand for throwing brew stuff in while brewing, tubing, ferementers, cold side stuff, etc.

Had an American Brown and Dark Mild that both got first. British Ordinary Bitter looked like it must have just missed out as it scored well and made it to mini BOS.

I don't know that anyone said the rebrewed beer "is the same beer that was judged in regional round." It isn't..... But, a rebrewed, fresh british bitter is certainly better than one that is 5 months old. Most people who can brew a beer good enough to get top 3 in a regional round know enough...

WL 850 is listed as a white lab equivalent. Can basically never find 2042 anymore. I generally use 2124 now.

Did you call/e-mail? I have generally had pretty good service from them over the years. I'd call and check on it, that is way, way too long - I'd see what is up or if a mistake was made.

Hmmmm.... I have not had that beer in forever. If I was going to compare it to something commercial that I drink from time to time, I would maybe say Bell's Half Hearted Ale perhaps.
