Concern I may have a contamination

So I racked my beer, added gelatine finings and polyclar to it. Cold crashed it and did a Gravity reading 5 days after and it was still showing a hefty amount of sugar remaining. I pulled it from the fridge and added yeast in an attempt to drop the Gravity down. I checked on it today and there...

    Summer Cream Ale

All great comments and I am seeing a theme in the comments ....less Carapils, little to no barley and avoid Citra and no dry hop. Personally I find Cluster really dull.....is there a step up from Cluster that is not too overbearing preferably adds a nice fruity undertone on the nose?

    IPA Not Clearing

If you have tried Pliny the Elder and attempted the Plinian Legacy from NB you will see the overall difference between the clarity. Its pretty mind blowing how different the two are. I have used both polyclar and gelatin. I do agree the longer its in the keggerator the better it looks!

This is a 5 gal batch recipe from more beer (grain bill) hops were what I had at home. Just trying something different. I have done a standard kolsch which went down smooth as silk! I figured I would try to spice it up with some tropical fruity hops So i like all of the feedback and will merge...

Specialty IPA: Black IPA 21st Amendment's Back in Black IPA clone attempt - Updated July 2013

I think you are on the right track there. Did you verify your grain bill with the 21st amendment website? They post everything you need there. If you don't care how close you get to the Back in Black, research other kits out there at northern brewer and more beer. They use chocolate or...

    Gambrinus honey malt?

If you are going for a honey pale ale add a few pounds of it to your grain bill. I agree that it tastes more like honey than actual additive of honey. Add 7.5 pounds of 2 ROW 1-2 pounds of honey malt and .5lbs of cara-pils and 1-1.5 oz of cluster ...maybe some maize and oats and you got a...
