I've always had good luck with them. My last catalog they didn't include yeast in the kits, probably to combat rising shipping cost.

So in short I have Wyeast 1007 yeast, smacked and ready to go but I dont have any malt extract or anything else. So I know I could do a German Alt or Oktoberfest, but could I do a wheat beer? I'm not a big fan of Oktoberfest and I've never had an Alt beer before. What extract recipes...

Why not make starters with dry yeast? I did a starter the other day with dry yeast and pitched it yesterday. Thanks
