Okay so I read about using oxyclean to clean fermenters. I had a tub at home and used about two scoops and let it sit for about 24 hrs. Then rinsed three times to make sure and get out any residue. Problem is I didn't read up enough and used the kind with the blue flecks. I now notice a weird...
So I am brewing up a NB extract kit of their Smashing Pumpkin Ale. I am thinking of adding some brown sugar. Should I add it at the beginning or end of the boil. I was thinking about 10 min before flameout.

Thanks everyone. Ill go ahead and pop the grains in the freezer once I get them just to be safe. I'm pretty excited to brew this one up. Seeing as pumpkin ales are my favorite of all seasonal brews. Plus I need something to keep my mind off of the caribou in the fermenter.
Just Purchased a NB Smashing Pumpkin Kit. I don't plan on brewing for at least a week or two. Possibly three. Do I need to refrigerate the LME and Steeping Grains? The grains come pre crushed. Thanks in advance!
