    DIY apple press?

hey all, I've got like ~300 in my backyard on my trees, and would love to make em into cider, how should I press them? LHBS has wine presses, but apparently, you need to puree the apple in a blender before I could use the wine grape press thoughts?

    C20+C60 = C40? LHBS Bull****?

situation is that I did a brew that called for a half pound of C40 and I already had 180g out of 225 needed for a half lb. So i used that plus 20g each of 20 and 60 and am hoping to recreate the recipe soon, but have all this c20 and c60 left over its a pain to get c40 where I am, no lhbs has it

    natural carbonation in a sanke?

now is that so my beer would be cold? or would the beer spoil? and how long could a keg keep (both in taste and carbonation) if it was at a constant 60-70 degrees f?

    natural carbonation in a sanke?

If I didn't want to futz with a CO2 system and regulator and such, but recently picked up a old sanke keg, could I ferment in carboy as usual, then transfer to sanke and prime with sugar, as if I was bottle carbing, would my beer carbonate in the usual ~2 weeks? also, from there, what would I...

Ch-Ch-Check it out? - (pale ale recipe)

Hi all, looking for some input on my extract homebrew I'm trying to brew what was originally a Sierra nevada clone, but I think this time I'm going to go a little hoppier, and it was never THAT close to SN, just a satisfying, drinkable pale ale, nice and crisp, sorta citrusy. long story short, I...
