    True Brew Gold

    Use the glass for primary. With the Amber you don't need a secondary. You will just transfer to the plastic spigot bucket for bottling. That's a good first brew kit to use to get a feel for the process. I used that for my first and it came out great. Good Luck!

    How fast do you cool your beer?

    I got 3 gallons from boil to 60 F immersed in ice water in approx. 15 minutes.

    Chilling the wort--Lid on or off

    I've been cooling with no lid. Haven't had any issues thus far.

    DFH 60 Minute Clone Grommet Issue

    Definitely going to go and pick up a bunch of spare grommets after this event but I am glad to report that my airlock is bubbling nicely now. All looks well so far. Thanks for the responses.

    DFH 60 Minute Clone Grommet Issue

    Today, had a great day brewing up a 60 Minute IPA clone. *All went great until putting the airlock in and top on fermenter bucket. *Initial Gravity was spot on, added yeast, all was going great, until the grommet from the cap fell into the bucket.
