Can I rebottle Mead or Wine?

I am only planning to give out a couple of bottles but I can't guarantee when it will be drunk. On a side not JAOM is very tasty with scotch. I tried this as the mead reminded me of Drambuie.

Can I rebottle Mead or Wine?

I made some JAOM a while back and got some sediment in my bottles, I want to give some away for Xmas, can I re-bottle it without risking oxidation? I have access to CO2 and could put some in the bottles first.

    Joe's Ancient Orange Mead

I just tried some JAOM and Scotch kinda like a rusty nail (Drambuie and Scotch) pretty tasty. I find the JAOM a little sweet on it's own.

There is a new place on Mountain ave that I have not yet visited but the other places in Moncton get their grain from the Noble Grape in Halifax.

The closest place to get grain is in Halifax unfortunately. I am hoping to do some partial grain kits here soon, I have had 3 here forever, hoping my yeast is still good! Just haven't had time with work.

When to dig up hops for transplanting.

They definitely have smaller cones and less plentiful cones, as well as smaller leaves. I am sure re-planting them in some good fertile soil will improve that somewhat as the ones I found are growing in a ditch on the side of a busy road. Oh and i do have some Hallertauer and Northern Brewer...

When to dig up hops for transplanting.

I am told they are good, but who knows? And maybe they really are wild. I was planning to dig some up in the fall, maybe in a month or so. Anyway, we'll see I guess.

When to dig up hops for transplanting.

I heard rumours that there are wild hops growing around here, and low and behold I checked out a tip yesterday and found some growing in a ditch. I am assuming these are something that naturalized themselves from old farms etc. from British colonial times. Anyway, I want to dig some up and...

    DIY mash paddle.

I am planning on milling one from a 36" maple log. Why all the work? Why not? and if it doesn't turn out, I can just go buy one.

    Benefits of a Wort chiller?

I have a pilsner like that now. I am so building a counter flow chiller... Will time help by any chance?

    Benefits of a Wort chiller?

I am going to make a longer one then... I can always reduce the flow for ales and increase for lagers.

    Benefits of a Wort chiller?

is it possible to chill too fast? I was looking at building a counter flow wort chiller, most are 15ft, what if I went 20-25 ft?
