    Ok. Finally got to wire it up and test it out. It stopped heating at 204 degrees. I changed the set point a little and now it boils easily.     Yep. I installed a 100 amp panel in my garage where this will be located fed off my house's 200 amp panel. Plenty of power there. According to the paperwork that came with it it says if water boils to adjust the settings so it is just below boiling.Somewhere around 190 degrees it where it should...

    Yeah, I'm planning on changing it out for a ball valve. Thinking of changing out the drain on the bottom to a ball valve also so i can recirculate and turning this thing into a big BIAB system. Gonna need a big bag.

    Just saying hello.

    New guy here from Ohio. I've been doing a lot of reading on here and figured it was time to introduce myself. I haven't been brewing long. I've done some extract batches that turned out pretty well so I think I'm gonna give all grain a shot. Looking forward to learning from all of you.
