    Can the tea be too strong?

    I know I should measure everything out but, I've been eyeballing it for years now. I just switched to a new black tea (Nilgiri) and added too much. My new 2 gallon batch is very very dark. Can this very strong tea harm my scoby. Will the kombucha be affected negatively in any way?
