Thanks for the quick feedback! I'll let you know how it works out. I'll be getting it by the end of May. It may take me a couple weeks more to get the other hardware as well. Baby steps and bit by bit. If any of you are adventurous and beat me to it, let me know how it went.

I am looking at expanding my homebrewing equipment and I would like to replace my carboy (which is a 6 gl pet food grade better carboy) with a conical fermenter. Being on the lower end of the food chain as it were financially, I can't afford a SS conical anytime in the near or distant future...

I'm a "born again" homebrewer. I had some experience with the craft back in 89-90, and lost touch. A long time friend reintroduced me last summer and I haven't looked back! I don't know what ever posessed me to leave it in the first place. I hope to find lots of useful info from you folks...
