I have seen a few discussions regarding a bypass for a HERMS coil and I am thinking about different ways to accomplish this. I didnt see this covered anywhere in the forums, but there are a ton of threads to maneuver, so forgive me if this has already been suggested.
Why not use a 3 way...
Starting heating my water and moved on to cleaning / sanitizing my ferment bucket when the lip around the top edge broke off, now I wont have a good seal. Anyone in the area have a 6+ gallon bucket or carboy for sale. No good sources locally for carboys or safe plastics!

Cleanliness is next to GODliness; thou shalt not ferment with a dirty carboy, or bottle, or keg, or bucket, or woven basket, or million dollar stainless steel conical. !!:mug:
