    Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

    Just tested my system. I'm going to get a straight TC pipe to get the condenser to the center of the lid for better balance. Seemed to work ok, some steam escaping but I would say about 5% escaping.

    I tested my condenser a few minutes ago. My silicone hose feeding it was going to explode so I quickly cut the water. I'm probably going to feed it with PEX. Has anyone experienced this?

    @jahlinux I have the Nano as well. I plan to install my condenser through the lid. I should have some pics and feedback over the next few days.

    @jahlinux I have the same kettle from CBS. I'm thinking about mounting on lid, but have to figure out a hop basket reconfiguration.

    I also have a Nano and I am considering this build in lieu of a hood. My concern is my hop basket (would allow steam to escape) and also a full kettle (would definitely fill up to the TC port). The fix for me would be a lid TC port connection. But I still need to come up with a hops basket...
